LS10 Vehicle Lift Certification – 4X4 Suspension, Body & Tyre Upgrades (75mm–150mm)
Legalise Your Lift – Fully Compliant with QLD Transport Requirements.
If your 4WD or light commercial vehicle has been lifted by more than 75mm and up to 150mm in total, you need an LS10 Modification Certificate to ensure your vehicle is legally registered and safe to drive on Queensland roads. At Autocert, we specialise in mobile engineering certification for LS10 modifications across the Greater Brisbane Area.
✅What Vehicles Are Covered?
We certify LS10 lifts on vehicles classified under:
- MC – Off-Road Passenger Vehicles (e.g. LandCruiser, Patrol)
- NA – Light Goods Vehicles (GVM ≤ 3,500 kg)
- NB1 – Medium Goods Vehicles (GVM ≤ 4,500 kg)
📋What Type of Lifts Need LS10 Certification?
An LS10 certificate is required for Complex Modifications where total lift height is between 76mm and 150mm, including:
- Suspension lifts (up to 100mm)
- Body lifts (up to 50mm, or 25mm if suspension exceeds 75mm)
- Tyre size increases (up to 25mm ride height, which equals 50mm tyre diameter increase)
- Any combination of the above up to 150mm total
Note: Modifications must be designed and approved under an LS9 engineering package prior to LS10 certification.
📋Modifications That DO NOT Require LS10
- Suspension lifts up to 50mm only.
- Tyre diameter increases up to 50mm only.
- Combined lift (suspension + tyres) of up to 75mm total
These are classed as Basic Modifications under QCOP and may not need certification.
🔧Modifications That Cannot Be Certified Under LS10
- Lift exceeding 150 mm total height.
- Suspension lift >100mm.
- Tyre lift >25mm ride height
- Body lift >50mm (or >25mm if suspension lift exceeds 75mm)
- Vehicles with reduced wheel track from factory spec.
Any lift not supported by a relevant LS9 engineering design.
📋What’s Covered in Our Inspection?
- We follow a detailed checklist aligned with QCOP LS10, including:
- Verification of LS9 design approval number
- ESC system assessment (if applicable)
- Vehicle condition before and after modification
- Suspension, steering, and chassis integrity
- Brake testing, driveshaft angles, lighting height compliance
- Confirmation that total lift is ≤150mm
📍 Areas We Service
Autocert’s mobile LO3 certification service covers:
- Brisbane Metro

- Logan
- Redlands
- Moreton Bay
- Scenic Rim (by request)
📋5 Step LS10 Certification Process
- Step 1: Pre-Inspection
We confirm your vehicle has been modified to the LS9-approved design and is safe to proceed. - Step 2: Test Day (Handling Dynamics)
We facilitate the Lane Change Test (LT2) to confirm the vehicle’s stability. If ESC is fitted and affected, additional ESC testing is required. - Step 3: Design Report & Engineering Certification
We compile an engineering report referencing the LS9 design and complete the official LS10 checklist. - Step 4: Mod Plate & Certificate
A blue mod plate is attached to your vehicle. You receive the official LS10 certificate for TMR records. - Step 5: Update Registration with TMR
We assist with the Change of Vehicle Particulars Form (F3524) so you can update your registration at any TMR office.
